Our clinic is conveniently located on the Harbor-Petoskey Rd. or M-119 next to the Sheriff's department. It is nestled back off the road in a quiet, peaceful, tranquil setting providing a relaxing atmosphere for healing. There is plenty of no-hassle, convenient parking at the clinic.
Our staff is always willing to serve you in a kind, polite, considerate and caring manner. Our current patients are called by name and we welcome all new patients to our clinic. Dawn DeRue, Office Manager, Front Desk Receptionist
Dawn has been part of our clinic staff since 1995. She is very experienced with insurance matters, including determining your coverage and proper billing. She regularly attends insurance seminars to keep current with the latest insurance changes. Dawn loves working with people and you will always find her smiling, cheerful and helpful when you call or visit our clinic. For any questions concerning your insurance coverage, please feel free to call Dawn.
Linda Beno, RN
Linda graduated from Hurley Hospital School of Nursing and has been on the clinic staff since 1979. Her duties include new patient history taking, and initial and comparative exams. She assists the doctor with patient evaluation, nutritional counseling and referrals, if needed. Linda's professional, caring expertise provides an important link to patients with medical concerns.
Leslie Regelin, Massage Therapist
Leslie joined the Beno Clinic Chiropractic Center, P.C. Staff in August 2006. She graduated from Blue Heron Academy in Muskegon and Grand Rapids, Michigan, in 2005 with a degree in Medical Massage and is a member of the American Medical Massage Association. Prior to moving to northern Michigan, she worked for a chiropractor in Grand Rapids for 9 months, treating patients with pain due to injury and stress.
As a Medical Massage Therapist (MMT), she is trained to:
. Relax the muscles before working on deeper tissues for a less painful massage
. Decrease pain
. Increase range of motion
. Stimulate healing
. Decrease inflammation
. Instruct in personal lifestyle changes and home exercises
Leslie has worked with clients with tight muscles across the shoulders, neck pain, headaches, low back pain, whiplash, sport injuries, auto injuries, fibromyalgia, stress reduction and relaxation.
Her interests include painting, drawing, photography, pilates, the love of animals (especially dogs) and the love of the outdoors.
We are excited to be able to offer Medical Massage as an avenue of healthcare to our patients and the community. You don't have to be a chiropractic patient in order to receive a massage in our clinic. However, we are well aware that the combination of chiropractic care and massage can produce miraculous results due to the fact that chiropractic care can help correct the underlying cause of tight muscles.
